I have used Bare Minerals Foundation and found it causes me to have breakouts. I tried the matte foundation and I really can’t tell any difference.

I have used BE for years, and really like it, except it accentuates my pores (I hate that!!) and when I sweat, it makes my skin itch. The matte is a huge improvement for us oily girls because the non-matte BE has the mica in it which looks shiny, and I certainly don’t need any help in that department. I just wish this didn’t accentuate pores though.. they look about 4 times bigger than they do with no make up or with liquid or cream make ups. I guess that’s because it doesn’t “sink” into the skin, but rather, sits on top.
I also notice that the BE seems to migrate throughout the day to my oily parts and wiping off of the drier parts, making my skin look really patchy with make up.. so touch ups are definitely required throughout the day.

I have always had the issue of oily and dry skin and when ever I would put my makeup on I would be oily within the next hour. The matte foundation keeps my skin looking really smooth and natural and keeps me oil free all day. I wore this stuff at a theme park all day and in the afternoon it started to rain, when I got home the coverage was still amazing and looked like it did when I put it on.
